S/M Mills

These salt and pepper mills are inspired by engine cams, featuring three stacked, offset, interlocking aluminum elements that rotate off-axis during use. Each element's complex, organic shape is derived from hand-drawn circles, creating a "precise handmade" aesthetic despite the CNC machining and turning process. Chamfered edges emphasize the stacked construction. The three anodized colors are inspired by different types of salt and pepper, hinting at the mills' contents.
